The accession includes files created or collected by the CBC historical division. Content includes personnel files related to Capt W.E.S. Briggs, Kenneth Caple, James P. Gilmore, Esse W. LJungh, Marcel Carter, Mary Evelyn Grannan, D.C. McArthur, Sir Ernest MacMillan, Neil M. Morrison, N.L. Nathanson, J. Frank Willis, George R. Young, and Peter Stursberg.

The accession also contains notes related to the CBC Board of Directions from 1936-1958, with copies of newspaper clippings, biographical information related to the board members, as well as a file related to talks by Howard B. Chase, chairman of the CBC Board of Governors and letters received in response to his speeches.

Files are assumed to have been created by the CBC historical section, but were originally part of the Documentation collection of National Film, Television and Sound Archives. They have been added to the CBC historical section series.
