This accession consists of specifications relating to the construction of federal government buildings, marine engineering structures and works, as well as other civil engineering structures in the Pacific Region. The records relate to projects initiated through means other than job orders, work orders or their equivalent. The specifications are primarily concerned with the construction of federal government buildings from the late 1950's through the early 1960's, which include details of the tender and some maps. Some of the specifications relate to the Miller Bay Indian Hospital.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
