Trains in summertime! As kids, we'd get on our bikes, cycle over and get as close as we could to them. We'd put a penny on the tracks, and watch the rain rumble by, and say: "Yeah that's going to Thunder Bay." Of course, we didn't really know where that was but we liked the name. But it probably did go there, if it was going across the country, either west or east, because there is only one main train line. Then we'd pick up stones and a stick, and play baseball. Try to hit things.."Hey check this out!" - but it was just for fun, we couldn't have hit a barn, never mind a moving train.
