CFB Baden-Soellingen is located in the southwest corner of Germany, on the edge of the Black Forest. This Canadian Forces Base opened in 1953, and one of its main role was to conduct tactical fighter operations in Nato's Central Region in accordance with relevant national and NATO defence plans.
