Recherche dans la collection - Cancelled aircraft files of the Pacific Regional Office [textual record]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Regional Office. Records are from the 5008 file block - Registration, Inspection and Operation files, and include only records for registered aircraft where the registration has been cancelled. The case files are organized in alphabetical order by registration mark from FAHA to IGDR. Since registration numbers are recycled once an aircraft is deregistered, the /1, 2, 3, etc. at the end of a mark indicates that the mark has been used before for an aircraft with a different serial number. The numeral after the slash "/" indicates the order of an aircraft that has been assigned a recycled registration number. Therefore, 5008-FAHA would indicate the first aircraft assigned that registration number (mark), FAHA/1 indicates the second, FAHA/2 the third, etc.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
