The accession consists of administrative and operational files from the North Battleford District Office (responsibility code 671).

The school registers pertain to the following Day Schools: Thunderchild (1955-1965); Onion Lake (1964-1970); Peter Pond (1964-1970); Waterhen (1965-1970); Canoe Lake (1965-1969); Moosomin (1965-1969); Sweetgrass (1964-1970); and Little Pine (1963-1969).

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
