Accession consists primarily of records related to forest industries. These include files related to interdepartmental projects, sectoral working groups such as the Forest Sector Advisory Council, program proposals, research, and policy and background files on subjects such as the Pinewood Nematode (a roundworm causing pine rot). There are also several project files related to forest industries research and development and innovation. There are also several files created by the Department of Industrial Expansion related to economic development in Quebec and Economic Regional Development Agreements. Finally, boxes 10-11 contain files related to trade agreements and disputes with the United States related to softwood lumber.
