Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Air Transportation Administration Branch in the 5156 block - Concessions and Leases, later changed to the 7156 block. According to a DOT subject description manual (year of publication unknown, probably in the 1980s), this block "relates in general to the policy and procedures for the leasing of lands or rental of space to the public at airports & the establishment of rental fees unique to a specific airport, (i.e. aircraft parking fees, employee parking, etc.) for airport national fees which are the same at every airport."
