Recherche dans la collection - National Harbours Boad, Port of Vancouver, Real Estate Department, Operational Records [textual record]

This accession is comprised of a variety of records created and/or accumulated by the Real Estate Department of the Port of Vancouver. The majority of these records consist of lease case files, of both individuals and corporations, which contain correspondence, agreements, plans, etc. pertaining to the port's management of its leased facilities and/or property. The remainder of the accession consists of general subject files that are primarily related to property development (specifically Granville Island and other proposed developments in False Creek), Harbour Boundaries/Jurisdictions (1922-1956), Board Minutes, and Real Estate Registers. In addition to these records, there are several files created by the Department of Public Works that concern structures and other works that fall under the Navigable Waters Protection Act and which contain certified true copies of documents from the late 1880's. It is not clear how these were transferred to the control of the port.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
