Millie was born in 1913. She is from a Jewish background. Millie entered the work force early, as an occupational therapist. Early intellectual stimulation came in high school, where she encouraged a group of peers to study the program of the League for Social Reconstruction. She was a member of the first-ever Cooperative Commonwealth Federation Youth Group. She comments on the League for Social Reconstruction's (LSR) timid efforts to establish worker operated co-ops from abandoned factories. She became a Party member during the Spanish Civil War. She tells of Soviet citizens the Ryersons had known, and the hardships they had endured, only to have the revolution subverted by careerists. <43m>Langue :EnglishRemarques : -
