Sara was born in 1944 in Ottawa. Dad was a civil servant, mom a homemaker and hobby farmer. After university, Sara joined the Company of Young Canadians, and did recreational organizing in Saint John. She moved to Montreal, and worked with a citizen's group attempting to preserve a neighbourhood near McGill. In Toronto two years later, she taught English to immigrants while going to Teachers' College. She was impressed with how hard comrades would work, but thought the press was way too rhetorical. The Cold War necessitated that people be defensive. That plagued the Party later. Sara went on a three weeks tour of Cuba. <45mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
