Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the British Columbia Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: education, including quarterly returns, practical arts courses, joint schools, school committees, in-service training for residential school staff, education resources centre, band training, educational assistance, and education and cultural development projects; welfare, including care of children, old age security, and welfare and education assistance to non-Indians living on reserves; the Kispiox day school teacherage; the Kitwanga Native Co-op; and placement of labour.
