This roll appears to be divided into three sections. First section deals with shots of office scenes; men and women at typewriters. man in an office. Filing. Typing. Slate F-295 Hull. Second section; cultural dances; circus performers; couple on a high wire; female dancers; kiltie piper band. Third section; CWAC women posing amongst apple blossoms. A woman addresses a CBC microphone. Garden ceremony (wedding?). Procession. Child at a pond. Church, 'St. Louis AD 1899'. <12mn 46s>

1. Production date based on the film edge code. Subject description taken from hand inspection and the Roffman Collection finding aid shot list. In some cases the finding aid shot list is more extensive than what actually appears on the roll.~2. The can number does not appear to match the finding aid shot lists.~3. Film rolls in this collection are in need of proper leadering and splice repair. Most shots on a roll are taped together and require cement splices prior to any screenings, video transfer, or client requests.~4. Library and Archives Canada is now the copyright owner for material originally under copyright to Julian Roffman. Julian Roffman died 16 November 2000, therefore, the material in this collection for which he was creator is under copyright until 31 December 2050.~5. A production slate on the film indicates this roll (or just the first section) is possibly related to the Associated Screen News Production F-295, FOR YOUR INFORMATION, IDC 162804.
