Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Saskatchewan Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession contains personal case files which include, but are not limited to, records relating to education assistance, social assistance, pensions, and children in care. The files all relate to the North Battleford District (responsibility code 671).

The case files mainly pertain to the following communities: Poundmaker, Red Pheasant, Sweetgrass, Thunderchild, Mosquito, Moosomin, Saulteaux, Onion Lake, and Little Pine. There are also a few case files related to these communities: Luckyman, Loon Lake, Nekaneet, and Joseph Bighead.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
