Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Touchwood File Hills Qu'Appelle District Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: education, including special education services, nominal rolls, special initiatives, elementary and secondary school programs, and youth employment strategy programs; social development, including early childhood benefit, assisted living, child and family services, family violence, income support, and income assistance; research statistics; band management, including financial and remedial management plans, Indian and Inuit Management Development (IIMD), and training; and economic development, including student employment and the Economic Development Opportunity Fund.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
