Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Touchwood File Hills Qu'Appelle District Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: Indian rights and treaty entitlements, including annuity payments, pasture lands, mineral rights, and land selection; band management, including audits, band funds, contribution agreements, council minutes, council by-laws, and council elections; wills; individual land holdings; leases; surveys and reserves; resources, including oil and gas, and sand and gravel; band membership, including marriages, births, adoption and enfranchisement.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
