Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by Alberta Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: minors' trust accounts for various first nations, including the Sarcee Band, Stoney (Chiniki) Band, Sunchild band, Blood Band, Peigan Band, Alexis Band, Alexander Band, Louis Bull Band, Montana Band, Ermineskin band, Samson Band, Little Red River Band, Dene Tha' Band, Horse Lake Band, Driftpile Band, Grouard Band, Sturgeon Lake Band, Bigstone Creek Band, Whitefish Lake Band, Beaver Lake Band, Saddle Lake Band, Cold Lake Band, Frog Lake Band, Kehewin Band, Fort McKay Band, Heart Lake Band, and Enoch Band.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
