The 1924 re-issue of the film record of the British Antarctiv Expedition of 1910-1913 under the leadership of Captain Robert Falcon Scott R.N. Following the establishment of base headquarters, shows 16 members of the expedition starting on the polar journey, 11 acting as supporting parties for the 5 who would attempt to reach the pole. The last part of the film reconstructs, with diagrams and maps, the return journey interposed with quotations from Scott's journal, Dolman's picture and still of the ill-fated members of the party. Members shown include Captain Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Edgar Evans, Lawrence Oates, Hebert Ponting.
