Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, and its predecessors the Vancouver Port Corporation and the National Habours Board.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: Burrard Inlet Environment Review Committees, other environment committees, environmental assessments and audits; Fraser River Estuary Management Program (FREMP); construction and maintenance of port structures such as Ballantyne Pier, Campbell Avenue Fisherman's Wharf, Canada Place, Centennial Pier, Centerm, C.N. Dock, heliport, Gastown waterfront, Heatley overpass, Lapointe Pier, Lynnterm, Seaboard/Neptune terminals, Vanterm, Deltaport, Commissioner Street extension, Maplewood Flats, and Roberts Bank; and various engineering projects.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
