The records in this accession consist of central registry files created in the offices of the Port of Vancouver. They relate principally to the Port's relations with various local and national interest-lobby groups, including the Western Transportation Advisory Committee, the Coal Association of Canada, the Canadian Port and Harbours Association, the Employers Council of B.C., and the City Council of North Vancouver. The files contain minutes, records of proceedings, reports, agenda, keynote addresses, conference memoranda, and correspondence related to various committees, meetings and conferences sponsored by the relevant interest-lobby group.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
