The sub-series consists of records maintained the Privy Council Office's central registry system during the period 1953-1959. The majority of records are still at the accession level; please consult the linked accession record with former BAN 118-000154-0 for additional central registry files, and the accession record with BAN 2004-00824-5 for the card index.

Volumes 6181-6183 contain material related to the meetings of the Advisory Committee on Northern Development, as well as a 1953 report to Cabinet on Activities in Northern Canada.
