The report offers a vision of Canada's role internationally, while focusing on what is in Canada's national interest at home and abroad. It makes recommendations on specific issues such as Canada-U.S. relations, Canada's relations with Asia and Mexico, management of the Arctic, a role for the military after its mission in Afghanistan ends, the oil sands and the environment and foreign aid.
