Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the British Columbia Regional Office of the Department of Western Economic Diversification and its predecessors.

The accession contains records arising from various prrojects, including but not limited to, those relating to corporations, health and medical businesses, technology companies, manufacturing, marine security software, energy, environment, research, media, tourism, food products and producers, brewing, advertisors, industries, Native crafts, educational institutions, and Native investment and trade.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
