Subjects include: the role of Vaclav Havel; plans for a national strike on November 27; the role of students in the fight for reform; anger over police beating up students; support by workers for the strike; and Czech radio and television coverage of the strike and the revival of the Catholic church, long repressed by the Communists. Interviewees include: students; physicist and boiler stoker Pavil Bratinka; Czech TV and radio executive Karil Kvapil, who was pressured to resign by his staff for his role in limiting coverage of the unrest; and former Communist Vladimir Dloughy. Other actuality includes: chanting crowds; folk songs; ceremony at St. Vitus Cathedral for the canonization of St. Agnes and a ride on a horse-drawn wagon in Prague during the strike by the students. <27mn>
