Documentary about life in Nablus and Ramallah. It begins with a description of the Intifada, the uprising by Palestinians against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, which began 11 weeks ago. Interviewees include a young woman at a hospital in the occupied territories, a hospital director describing the wounds causes by high-velocity bullets, a doctor in a hospital in Ramallah, who describes the mortal wounds suffered by a young man, United Nations employee Mary Khas, a young man who is a leader of the uprising, and young boys in a refugee camp. Subjects discussed include: the despair felt by Palestinians living in the area and the view by young Palestinians that they have no future unless they fight. Mary Khas tells a story about trying to protect a Palestinian boy but having to leave him behind because she is threatened by soldiers, her regret at having given in to her fear at that moment, and her desire to keep looking for him to make sure he is okay. <17mn 6s>
