There are also excerpts of a speech by Opposition leader Allan Blakeney in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Three women share their recollections of Tommy Douglas and talk about Allan Blakeney. At an auction, Elizabeth Gray interviews Ray Bailey, former leader of the Western Canada Concept party, who says that the NDP has failed to get the support of younger people. Gray also speaks to Liberal candidate Ralph Goodale, at a campaign event in Assiniboia-Gravelbourg, who says that Brian Mulroney’s election has been beneficial to provincial Liberals in all provinces.
