Manuscript, pen-and-ink and watercolor. Shows the route of march with dates of camps at select sites, Hazen's road from "Cohos" on the Connecticut River to the White River, a large tree at the end of the completed portion of the road marked "CC" over "XXI" by the British, "the Routs which are thought the most eligible for the Rebels to continue their Road by," a favorable location for a fort or blockhouse, the old road to "Cohos," portages, part of Lake Champlain, part of the St. Lawrence River, numerous towns and defenses chiefly along the Sorel or Richelieu River, the Yamaska River, and the St. Lawrence River. Also shows the forts at St. Johns and Chambly. Includes a table of distances between points traveled during the expedition. Oriented with north to the lower left.
