The sheets show: (1) Site plan -- (2) St. James Anglican Church, elevation -- (3) Court House, elevation -- (4) Registry Office elevation, Court Room floor plan -- (5) Court Room window and church door details. St. James Church is adjacent to the Court House. It is Gothic in style and is built of white free stone. The interior wood work is pine, stained and varnished, and of chaste pattern. The Court House was erected in 1842. It now contains the administrative and judicial offices of the County of Lanark. Much of the exterior has been changed but the Court Room on the second floor retains much of its character.
