This is an accurate map of the Newfoundland, Nova Scotia coastlines. Many of the names of features and settlements were misplaced or omitted. The map was first published in Cary's: New Universal Atlas...1808. The map was then included in subsequent editions of the atlas. The Collection holds 7 other copies of the 1807 map. All are separate sheet, coloured, originals (See Note 1). The Collection also holds one copy of the 1828 state of the map (See Note 2).
