Since we have seen no other notice of suce an edition, it may be that Winsor has confused the above work with the manuscript by Medina in the Bilbioteca Nacional, Madrid, which is entitled Suma de Cosmographia. Wagner gives us the date 1561(?) for this manuscript; and, if we interpret him correctly it contains, with additions the same map which appeared in L'Arte del Navegar in 1545. [cartographic material]
