Description :

Documentary on the Sedna IV expedition to Antarctica to document the effects of climate change on that continent’s winter after all the other scientific expeditions had left. The film concerns the difficulties of the ship in resisting the weather, the personal problems for the crew members living with the isolation and the impact of the global warming on those species that need the ice for reproduction. During that Antarctic winter, the crew recorded an average temperature of minus five Celsius and a lowest temperature of minus fourteen Celsius. <105mn 32s>
