The original of this map is located in the Spanish National Archives at Simancas. The part of the map coloured blue was "done by the relations of the Indians." The names of 44 towns situated on the rivers in the Chesapeak Bay area are listed. One B Copy is located in I.N. Phelps Stokes: The iconography of Manhattan Island 1498 - 1909 (New York: Robert H. Dodd, 1916), plate 22. It does not have a title. The other B copy is located in Alexander Brown: The genesis of the United States, (Boston: Houghton, Mifflin & Company 1890), is uncoloured but has the same title as the H3 copy.
