"This map shows the New Brunswick - New England area of North America. It was taken from a larger map by Mitchell entitled "A map of the British and French Dominions in North America..." which was published by R. Sayer in 1755. The map shows cities, towns, forts and physical features and carries a note by John Pownall concerning the making of the map. The extract was made in 1838, probably by W. J. Stone, for the legislature of Massachusetts' "Report and resolves in relation to the north eastern boundary"."
