A detailed plan of part of the Rideau Canal. The plan is made up of numerous sheets glued by John By and dated 18 March 1830. There are notes relating to the survey and the works carried out on this portion of the canal. This plan bears the Inspector General of Fortifications and Board of Ordnance stamps. Information on the back of this plan states "Map of part of the Rideau Canal from Brewer's Upper Mills to Jack's Lifts."
