This map accompanies an article written by T.D. Ledyard which, in true nineteen century "Boosterism" fashion, describes the future "Canadian Chicago" the "northern inland San Francisco". The principal streets and wharves are named and the C.P.R. lines are shown. There are three copies of this map: two are in the Insurance and Real Estate Society Vol 3, p. 117 & 148 and the third is a photographic reproduction. Note: the latter copy is reduced and therefore one should disregard the scale statement and use only the bar scale. As the journal was founded by Chas. E. Goad, the authorship of the map has been attributed to him.
