Recherche dans la collection - Plan of ordnance lands in the City of Toronto, made from actual survey by S. Fleming, Esqre. in the spring of 1852, under instructions from the Royal Engineers. [cartographic material]

Map covers area of Toronto south of Queen St., showing ordnance buildings and the boundaries of military reserves. Rail lines, several street names and lots are also shown, and the names of a number of property owners are given. The map bears a note: "This plan is the property of the Northern Railways Company of Canada. Owen Jones, Chf. Engr." There are also three notes relating to the plan's use as an exhibit in three civil actions, involving the Northern Railway and the Grand Trunk, in 1878 and 1879. Owen Jones prepared another map of the same area in Feb., 1878.
