Shows are the river systems draining into the Gulf of St. Lawrence between the Rivière Godbout and the Rivière Moisie. The boundaries of timber limits in the area are marked, and the area of each limit is indicated. There are red manuscript additions showing government work in the vicinity of the Rivière Trinité in 1892 and 1904. The map bears the stamp "Executors of estate of M.M. Boyd". The map is one of a large number from the estate of Mossom M. Boyd, a Canadian lumber magnate. The active part of the Boyd Company's operations eneded in 1919.
