Located in: The New Standard Atlas of the Dominion of Cananda ... (Montreal and Toronto: Walker and Miles, 1875), pp. 145-155. Sheets no. 1 2 and 3 bear the imprint: "Compiled and drawn from information in the Crown Timber lands Office, under the supervision of Jules Taché." A note on sheet no. 4 states: "This map...is a compilation from official plans and returns of surveys made under my direction, and other documents of record in this office. Crown Timber Office, Ottawa, 7th April, 1875, A.J. Russell, Crown Timber Agent, etc." The four sheets show holders of timber leases in different areas of the province; sheet no. 4 includes part of Ontario along the Ottawa River. Tables give names of companies and location of their operations. Other features shown are political boundaries, Indian reserves, roads and railroads.
