Wright Esqr., now Surveyor General of St. Johns Island and Mr. Thos. Hurd, now a Lieutnant in the navy, under the orders of Saml-Holland Esqr., at that time. Surveyor General of the northen district of N. America, & agreeable to the directions of the Board of Trade. N.B. The names of places are the same by which they had ever been known by ye inhabitants.
