This starts abruptly with several skits performed by Don Harron and a woman, about the hackneyed endings of Hollywood movies and some suggested new endings to give the movies a different twist. The skits are about: a singer who gets her big chance as an understudy to a star; gangsters threatening people in a café; and the reaction of a young couple to their first baby. This is followed by a man [identified only as George] singing to the image of a girl on a television screen. The girl on the television reacts as if she can hear the song. As the singer finishes the song, he looks up to see that the girl, Toby (possibly Toby Robbins), is standing near him, next to the image of herself on the television set. She introduces the next performer, the magician Blackstone, from the Casino Theatre in Toronto. The camera shows the empty set, as if waiting for the magician to appear. This seems to be a mistake, as [Robbins] walks back and forth several times in front of the camera, the curtains then close, and stage crew members are walking around. This is accompanied by muffled conversation off-camera. Next, Don Harron does a skit about a radio announcer. This is followed by a song-and-dance number. The recording concludes with the title card "The Big Revue" and an announcement that the program will continue after a brief pause. <21mn 30s>
