The document is on parchment. It has a multi-lined blue and red border, and red and black printed letters. A large red seal is on a circular-shaped parchment. One long piece of green ribbon is tied in a bow over the top of the seal and woven through the parchment.

The parchment is brittle and yellowed. The print and ink have faded. A brown stain is present near the right edge in the central area. Edges are dirty and curling. The fold lines are also dirty and have caused adjoining ink and/or print to fade. There is a small tear in the upper left corner.
