The document has one red wax seal, located in top left corner of page one. Two pieces of green ribbon are adhered underneath the wax seal. One small piece of pink archival ribbon is visible on page two, top right corner. Purple ink notation are present along the left edge. A blue ink stamp on the docket title is dated February 12, 1876 and states "Department of the Interior".

The document is laminated with tissue. The lamination is cracked and stained along central fold line. Edges are dirty, torn, worn, and a piece is missing. A brown stain is present in the lower left corner, opposite the wax seal.
