The document has six doodem (clan, also known by the anglicized term totem) signatures and seven covered seals. Six of the seals have "Chief" written on the lids while one seal has "Head Chief" written on the lid.

The document is laminated with tissue. It has small holes, is yellowing and there are possibly white bleach stains along fold lines. There are ink smears and blots. The docket title area is dirty with possible rust stains. Two holes in top left corner were probably used to adhere the documentation together. A piece is missing and a sealing wax stain in the top left corner of page one corresponds to markings on the map.
