The document is on parchment and the top edge is scalloped. There are five red wax seals (in poor condition) and four blue ribbons. Two of the ribbons hold together the bottom hem of page one over page two. The other two ribbons are woven through the parchment with wax seals placed on top. Red ink is used for a multi-lined border. There is also unusual calligraphy (script).

The document is brittle and bubbled. It is worn along the fold lines. The ribbons have stained the parchment and there are ink smears.
