Tactical SAR imagery is in RAW file format. Imagery can be viewed using the following software: Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0.2 (through the "Open As" option) or ERDAS Imagine 8.7. If Adobe Photoshop is used to access the imagery, the following information is required: header size (1024), width (4160) and length (varies and can be automatically calculated by Photoshop or obtained from the electronic LOG file from the number of lines field). If ERDAS Imagine is used to access the imagery, an additional computer file (.gen) will be required: Sip_N.gen (for narrow width imagery) or Sip_W.gen (for wide swath imagery). The imagery will appear in mirrored format and should be reorientated.
