Series consists of a wide variety of maps from all over the world, with a special attention to northern countries, the main focus of Dr. Trevor Lloyd's professional interests. There are many maps from the Canadian Land Use Information Series; there are also numerous maps from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union and Hungary as well as Israel, Denmark, United States and Germany.

Material was acquired from Dr. Henry Trevor Lloyd in Feb. 1978

Note sur le classement :

The collection was separated in 1983: 9 maps are described in MIKAN (please consult the descriptions linked to his record) and atlases were described in AMICUS (please see below the list of relevant items).

The majority of the material was integrated into the Foreign Collection. Canadian maps were integrated into the Main Collection. Duplicates of maps and atlases were re-distributed. An item listing of all material is available in the accession file.
