BRADY'S BEASTS is an animated television series for children featuring a twelve-year old boy by the name of Brady Plunkett who lives in a whimsical new-millennium world where children are clamoring to replace their goldfish, puppies, hamsters and other cute household pets with horrifying, erratic and often carnivorous monsters. Raising these hideous semi-domesticated creatures of all shapes, sizes and appetites is not easy. While kids do not tend to be scared of them, the adults are utterly petrified. That's why children often end up calling Brady Plunkett, a true monster-rights activist, to help ease the potentially risky adoption process. In each episode, we learn the dos, don'ts, and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a beast. In addition, each episode contains two separate stories. In the first story of this episode, Maxwell comes home with a kitschy painting of a clown, which he believes is artistic and priceless. He hangs it in the living room, but very soon the paint starts oozing off its canvas, spreading out all over the place and, in the process, removing all colour from everything it touches. As the entire town turns monochromatic, it is up to Brady and friends to find a way to restore the missing colours. In the second story, things begin vanishing mysteriously throughout Ravenville. Brady finds out that an invisible monster by the name of Pooka is responsible for the trouble. He will need help of the family dog, Boris, and a pair of specially tinted glasses to find the mischievous prankster-monster Pooka. <24mn 15s>
