BRADY'S BEASTS is an animated television series for children featuring a twelve-year old boy by the name of Brady Plunkett who lives in a whimsical new-millennium world where children are clamoring to replace their goldfish, puppies, hamsters and other cute household pets with horrifying, erratic and often carnivorous monsters. Raising these hideous semi-domesticated creatures of all shapes, sizes and appetites is not easy. While kids do not tend to be scared of them, the adults are utterly petrified. That's why children often end up calling Brady Plunkett, a true monster-rights activist, to help ease the potentially risky adoption process. In each episode, we learn the dos, don'ts, and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a beast. In addition, each episode contains two separate stories. In the first story, a flying Hemlock monster freezes people into solid ice with his chillingly paralyzing scream. Armed with specially modified high-charged hairdryers, Brady and Virgil set out to save Ravenville's citizens from becoming the Hemlock's private supply of human-flavoured popsickles. In the second story, Maxwell unleashes a malevolent meanie - an untraditional kind of genie that gives orders instead of taking them. The Meanie has an ominous plan - if he succeeds in getting the Plunketts' house key, the Plunkett family and the Meanie will have magically switched homes. In order to avoid becoming a prisoner of the Meanie's lantern, Brady has to act fast. <24mn 15s>
