Included subjects are tributes to Minister of Health Anne McLellan and to Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific David Kilgour, the quality of life in Canada and Alberta, the achievements of the LPC government since 1993, Chrétien’s projects until his retirement including the necessity to reach an agreement with the provinces on health care and on the Kyoto Protocol implementation, giving examples of cases when tighter environmental laws forced the development of new technologies which then were exported and made a profit, the international prestige of Canada, and the freedoms in Canada regarding religion, language, and culture.
