This accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the former Dairy, Fruit and Vegetable Branch of the Food Production and Inspection Division of Agriculture Canada. With the creation of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Section of the Food of Plant Origin Division inherited these functions. Subjects include, but are not limited to, the following subjects: importation of apples, grapes, and potatoes; trader name files; complaints; board of arbitration decisions; and case files by names of distributors, producers, brands and companies.
